Superintendent’s Message
Holiday Message to Our Benicia Unified Community
As we wrap up an outstanding Fall semester, I want to express my gratitude to our students, staff, and families for your hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support you provide every day. Your efforts are the foundation of our success as a District and as a community.
With Winter Break upon us, I hope this holiday season brings you precious moments with loved ones, joy in traditions, and time to do what brings you peace and happiness. This time of year is significant as it reflects the various holidays, observances, and cultural traditions that shape and strengthen the diversity within our community. Through these differences, we deepen our understanding of one another and grow closer as a collective whole.
For many, this season is also a time to honor and remember loved ones who are no longer with us. Their presence is forever connected within our hearts, and celebrating in their memory keeps their spirit alive.
As we look forward to the new year, I encourage everyone to celebrate safely and responsibly as we envision the possibilities that 2025 holds. When we return for the Spring semester, let us come back refreshed, renewed, and ready to finish the school year with strength, purpose, and grace.
Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
Respectfully,
Damon J. Wright, Ed.D.
